Dr. James Warner

Dr James Warner qualified as a doctor in 1986 after graduating from the Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School.
After postgraduate training in medicine and psychiatry he was appointed consultant psychiatrist in 1998. James has spent most of his career as a psychiatrist working with older people.
He specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders including dementia, depression and delirium. James has extensive experience in assessing mental capacity including testamentary capacity, and capacity to litigate, make lifetime gifts and execute lasting Powers of Attorney.
He is also an experienced expert witness in criminal and civil matters. He has experience of giving evidence in criminal trials (for prosecution and defence), county court, immigration court and the court of protection.
